Experience A Discreet Orthodontic Experience With Invisalign

Invisalign is a revolutionary orthodontic treatment that provides a clear, comfortable, and discreet way to straighten teeth. It uses a series of custom-made aligners to gradually shift teeth into their ideal positions. At Palm City Dental Arts in Palm City, FL, we provide this orthodontic system to our patients and would be happy to discuss whether it’s the right option for you!

What are Invisalign’s benefits?

There are many! Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible, so most people won’t know you’re wearing them. They’re also more comfortable in comparison to traditional metal braces, and they can easily be removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing your teeth. Invisalign also requires fewer office visits and can be adjusted more quickly than traditional braces.

How will my Invisalign aligners be created?

We’ll start by taking impressions of your mouth, which will be used to create a digital 3D image of your teeth. The Invisalign team will then create a custom-made treatment plan for you, which will involve wearing several sets of aligners in order to gradually shift your teeth into the desired position.

How often will I change aligners & how should I care for them?

You can expect to swap out your Invisalign aligners every two weeks. To get the best results from this treatment, you must wear them for at least 22 hours per day and keep them clean with a soft toothbrush and lukewarm water after each use.

Who is a good candidate for Invisalign?

Invisalign is well-suited to patients who are experiencing minor crowding or spacing issues, overbites, underbites, crossbites, and open bites. It may not be ideal for those with more severe cases of misalignment or bite issues, however. Rest assured that our team will thoroughly assess your case before recommending a treatment plan.
