Address Dental Issues ASAP With Emergency Dentistry

At Palm City Dental Arts in Palm City, we know that dental emergencies can happen and do when patients least expect them. Whether you’re experiencing pain, infection, a broken or a knocked-out tooth, or another type of dental trauma, we’re here to help!

What qualifies as a dental emergency?

The most common emergency treatments are restorative repairs such as root canals, crowns, and fillings for damaged or decayed teeth, extractions for severely damaged teeth, and antibiotics for treating infections. Sports injuries wherein a tooth is chipped, cracked, knocked out, or displaced are also common dental emergencies.

What should I do when experiencing a dental emergency?

The most important thing to do is contact us immediately. Our team prioritizes providing care to patients who are experiencing dental emergencies and we’ll do everything we can to deliver expedient and effective care.

It’s also important to protect the area until you see us. You can do this by rinsing your mouth with warm salt water to soothe soreness and keep the area around the affected tooth clean. For any facial swelling, you can use a cold compress to manage inflammation, and if you’ve lost a tooth, filling, or crown/bridge, try to find and gently rinse it with warm water before bringing it to our office.

I’m not currently a Palm City Dental Arts patient. Can I still be seen?

Yes, we’re happy to care for new patients experiencing dental emergencies! We understand that emergencies can’t happen on a schedule and you need help now, so we’ll do our best to make time for you as soon as possible.

If you have an emergency or if you’re experiencing pain, please call us right away and we’ll do our best to see you quickly!
